• Start with bare and stripped wood that's clean and dry
• Test before staining on a hidden spot to make sure you like the color
• Stir stain well before and occasionally during staining
• Don't shake or thin stain and rich, wood appearance
• Apply stain with a brush or clean cloth
• Wait 3 minutes and remove the excess stain with a clean cloth, wiping in the direction of the grain
• Allow to dry for 24 hours before topcoating
• To darken the color, recoat after 8-10 hours, do not sand between coats
• The non-drip formula makes it ideal for vertical applications like doors and molding
